First Post!

Hello everyone!  Eliza and I are sitting in our room in our apartment.  The apartment is GREAT - everything you would need.  We have a room with two beds, a desk, cabinets and drawers for clothes, and a big chair.  Our beds face each other and actually touch at the ends.  We have a small little kitchen and a table.  We have two bathrooms, and our roommates are very nice!  We are about a 30/35 minute commute from the center of Vienna, and there kids in our program living about two blocks away so it is not too bad.  We take two different U-bahn trains to get to the school, which is like a subway system.  The IES center is in the center of Vienna, close to everything!  The buildings are beautiful and the architecture is incredible.  We have met some really cool people - we are surprised at how many friends we have!!!  We have two weeks of "intensive german" - we take german 3 hours every day.  It is hard, but its the only class we have for the next couple weeks so its not too rough.  We are thinking about going to Croatia next weekend with a few people from our program.  Anyone heard good things about croatia????  We are having so much fun and are really excited to be here.  We will keep you updated....
